This album retains the melodic nature of Zephyrus while building on more complex harmonic structures and forms, as well as incorporating world and ethnic influences and elements of classical music. The core concept of this album revolves around visual music - music that transports the listener to a specific time or place. Released: June 2015

Zephyrus, Shane's first release was recorded in March 2015, and released the following June. This album showcases eight original compositions in a variety of styles. It has received favourable reviews and feedback from fans worldwide. This CD includes fan favourites 'Avenue' and 'The Rebellion'.


Release: Tuesday April 21st 2020

Rain Dance is Shane Hennessy's third studio release. Featuring eleven original compositions arranged for solo acoustic guitar, Rain Dance showcases Hennessy's flatpicking skills for the first time, as well as his unique fingerpicking techniques. Musical influences are drawn from traditional Irish music, traditional West African music, hip-hop, and classical music.
